Founders Subriana and Allen Pierce Recognized at Lead Like King Virtual Awards Ceremony
Founders Subriana and Allen Pierce have been recognized for their outstanding leadership at Navigator Sales and Marketing by the 2021 Lead Like King Awards Committee. The Lead Like King Awards Ceremony is co-hosted by T.D. Jakes Divinity School and The Urban Renewal Center to recognize transformational leaders in society who “Lead Like King,” referencing leadership criteria outlined in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s book, “Where Do We Go From Here? Chaos or Community?”.
Navigator Sales and Marketing is a food and beverage broker representing mainstream, niche, specialty, ethnic, and emerging brands. Subriana and Allen Pierce founded the company in 2013 with the mission of helping CPG brands navigate the retail grocery industry.

The Lead Like King Virtual Awards and Scholarship Drive is co-hosted by Jakes Divinity School and the Urban Renewal Center to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy by recognizing Black excellence in our society. Jakes Divinity School, an emerging institution, continues King’s efforts with the religious community by educating and preparing leaders for the church and society. The Urban Renewal Center shares King’s commitment to social justice and racial harmony by responding to the community with support, building faith-based coalitions to facilitate educational opportunities and other developments to support the community.
Over the past year, Navigator Sales and Marketing launched the Navigator Lighthouse Foundation to increase the representation of minority brands in the grocery retail industry. Navigator Lighthouse builds upon Navigator Sales and Marketing by providing customized and tailored brokering solutions to minority, and specifically Black, Brown and women-owned, businesses.
